Max Verstappen’s Performance Coach (2019–2024) Brad spent five years as performance coach to Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen, overseeing physical conditioning, physiotherapy, nutrition, recovery and sleep. His work supported Verstappen’s rise to the top of Formula 1, including multiple race victories and one of the sport’s most intense championship battles. Culminating in the dramatic 2021 title victory, where Verstappen overtook Lewis Hamilton on the final lap of the final race to secure his first championship.
Elite Sport & Olympic Success: With a BSc in Sport & Exercise Science and an MSc in Physiotherapy, Brad’s career began in the UK’s National Health Service before moving into professional sport. His experience includes:
- Working with elite athletes in UFC, boxing, football and cycling.
- Supporting Team GB basketball and Team GB gymnastics, helping Max Whitlock achieve Olympic and World Championship gold medals.
Expanding into U.S. Motorsport & Endurance Racing: In 2024, Brad expanded from Formula 1 to work across multiple motorsport disciplines. He is a human performance consultant for Honda Racing Corporation, working with Acura MSR in IMSA and IndyCar, including marquee events such as the Indy 500 and Daytona 24 Hours. He also collaborates with Toyota Gazoo Racing and supports junior drivers in the USF2000 series.
